Concrete and Abstract Nouns

We have learnt about the difference between concrete and abstract nouns.

Light and Sound Experiment

This afternoon LS1 and Room 5 went to the reserve and did an experiment. We needed to put our hands up when we heard the clapper. We made a long line of beside the water. Ms Kirkpatrick was at one end. When she clapped the sound travelled down the line. people put their hands up in a wave. We saw the clapper before we heard the sound because light travels faster than sound.

My Opinion

This week we needed to decide in our thinking group if we should or shouldn't have prize giving. We decided we should have prize giving. 

Different Opinions

In our thinking groups we looked at a text that has different opinions. The issue was should we have

 prize-giving? We looked at the vocabulary and found some definitions. We talked about our own opinions. We wrote one reason we should and one reason we shouldn't have prize-giving.
