This week we have been learning the meanings of New Zealand place names and locating them on a map.

This week we looked at a book called Charli's superhero underpants by Paul Bright & Lee Wildish. We had to put the definition under some words and then choose one to make a DLO about the picture. I chose proximity.

This week we were learning the names of baby animals. I chose to do a DLO on a cygnet.

We looked at homophones in our phonics this morning. Here is an example.

An analogies compares two things. In our example it compares a relationship between two objects and we can think of the match for the other object.
